"What Cheer is home to a lot of people in the Providence area. I've been coming here for years and years and still love it. Great drinks, amazing food, and fun and friendly staff. Nothing beats a summer night on their patio either watching the game while playing corn hole or watching actual live music. Feels like being at your best friends summer BBQ party! Did I mention they have that too? You have to go on a Sunday to get the infamous Horseman BBQ, you won't be let down."

"I’ve been here 2 times so far with a few friends who are regulars. I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about this place! The staff is very welcoming and all around great people. They are very passionate about their rotating selection of brews and it shows! They have the main establishment and then there’s an outdoor patio in the back where you can enjoy the summer weather with tables/umbrellas (there’s also a tv to watch the game). "What Cheer Tavern is a great neighborhood location that is warm and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Food was great! Not your typical tavern food; the crab sandwich had just the right amount of dill and other spices. If you get the chance to stop in, try the charred Brussel sprouts........absolutely delicious! Also has an amazing assortment of brew on the menu."
