"Had some very helpful conversations with the Dr during the appointment. He spends a lot of time listening and discussing management of type 1 diabetes. The educator has had a few lengthy conversations with me as well that were enlightening."

"Office worker, PAULINE, does not belong in patient care. Other staff, specifically Erica, Theresa, and Dr. Mahata are wonderful. Unfortunately, Pauline was the voice of the practice today, which prompted me to write this awful review."

"I love Dr Mahata and Emily at the front desk but the support staff is horrible. It’s impossible to ask a question between appointments, or speak to the Dr about blood work. I’ve asked about blood work results and when they didn’t know, I asked if I could speak with Dr Mahata and was told “no, she won’t speak with you on the phone”. Found out I needed to up this prescription a year and a half later when I finally saw the Dr. They have also messed up 6 prior authorizations leading to me missing doses of medication for 2 months, and yes the hospital is in charge of prior auths but this office didn’t follow up with a correction, they just let it continue to get submitted incorrectly. When I brought it up they brushed me off. There’s also staff members that will follow up with you but are incredibly condescending- will interrupt while you are trying to explain an issue with immense rudeness. Because I want to work with Dr Mahata I have to deal with so much stress caused by the support staff."

"I like Dr Mahata and the office but have a problem getting refills for prescriptions. Where I get my prescriptions done they email over the request. Found out today they don’t accept emails. It needs to be faxed over and even then the receptionist said they don’t always get them? Their office needs a better system."

"Doctors here have no problem putting you off for months. Communication is nonexistent. Found out results of lab work when the pharmacy informed me I had a prescription ready to be picked up. Nobody ever called to tell me what my diagnosis was or what the medication was for. This happened not once, but twice, even after I expressed my displeasure after it happened the first time. One of the most frustrating experiences of my life with a medical facility. If you want to feel better and don’t want to wait 6 months between your initial appointment and starting medication, find an office that actually cares about their patients."
