Northern Light Mercy Walk-in Care

"Someone shut this place down. Truly your health and safety are top priority and this place will not care for you and examine you properly. The only decent human encountered tonight was reception. Had my one year old needing to be seen due to possible respiratory distress— waited 45 minutes in the room after encountering the most awful and rude lady named Sheila. My child was barely examined and I left with zero help. This place is a dumpster fire. In addition we ended up in the ED at Maine Medical Center the next morning where he was examined and immediately tested for RSV which came back positive on top of his Covid.. Take you and your family anywhere else. You’d probably get better help asking Facebook than these people."

"From all the negative reviews I read I wasn’t to thrilled about going here but I had no choice on a Saturday afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was registered, I only waited 10 minutes max in the waiting room before I was brought into the exam room. The nurse came in right away and was very nice, I waited 5 minutes before the NP came in and she was very caring and compassionate….. it was a great experience and I will definitely use they again"

Every staff member I met here was friendly and excellent in their role. Please don’t be swayed by negative patient reviews — this is an excellent facility!"

"I've been to the urgent care center 3 times in the last 5 years. Once for a bad case of poison ivy and another time for a tick bite. In both instances, the nurses and doctors spent an extraordinary amount of time getting to know me and my problem. They didn't simply treat me but spent a great deal of time educating me on various causes, cases, effects, treatments, etc... Each time, I left feeling better prepared for taking future precautions. My other time, I broke my hand in 5 places. Everyone was excellent about making sure I was comfortable. In all 3 cases, I was seen quickly, in under 1 hour. My experience in every ER has been a minimum 2 hour wait. The place is clean, bright, and has a friendly staff. I highly recommend this clinic."

"Went to the walk-in clinic Wednesday, many patients ahead of me. The admin let me know it would be about a 90 minute wait to be seen. I was seen an treated in less than an hour. They were very efficient and professional. I was very happy with their care as I had a sinus infection that just wouldn’t quit. Will absolutely use this location again when I need urgent care."
