"Pretty good, but pretty expensive. Ordered ahead over the phone, going with The Charleston and the SS Calamari. Total came to roughly a bit over $35 before tip, which was pretty pricy for just two menu items, especially for the calamari clocking in at over $15 and an up charge on any side aside from chips with the Charleston. (which is a chicken wrap with bacon, honey mustard, tomato and lettuce though I had the tomato held) Amusingly almost got my meal for free as the waitress thought I had ordered through the online system, and luckily for her I corrected her misunderstanding and paid for it as I should. But they might want to be a bit better about that, might not be so lucky the guy next time won't just waltz out the door with a free dinner. But was the taste worth the price? Well, yes and no. The wrap was good, but nothing amazing or shocking. The onion rings were alright, good flavor, but just a tad underwhelming. I think they needed more of a crunch. And the calamari, well it needed a bit longer in the fryer for sure, a little doughy to me, but boy was that sauce they included so interesting! It heavily reminded me of mincemeat. Not a flavor I'd though I'd have on fried octopus, but it worked. So yeah, pretty pricy. I mean, this is a pub, the price should be far more reasonable for the appetizers since that's most of what your bar goers will order. But what I got was pretty good, some minor complaints, but nothing that made me deduct a star."
"We enjoyed a really good dinner here last weekend. We arrived on the early side and were seated quickly. Service was amazing. A few different staff members attended to us, making sure we had drinks and refills, that our food was brought to us promptly, and dishes were cleared as we went. Food was outstanding. I cannot recommend the homemade mozzarella enough; seriously some of the best I have had anywhere - and I eat a lot of them! Both Melba and marinara sauce were good with them. Cheddar ale soup of the day was good too (chose that with one of our meals instead of fries for a small upcharge). Buffalo chicken wrap was very good with plenty of chicken and not an overwhelming amount of lettuce. Finally the fish and chips. Oh my goodness! Battered and crispy just the way I love and very tender. Also - huge! The biggest fish of fried fish I have ever seen. What a great spot this was. If you haven't been, go!"
"Stopped in for dinner. Hadn't been there in 18 years. Loved the atmosphere Service was great. Many different choices on the menu. They all sounded delicious. Had the chicken pesto sandwich and my friend had the french dip. Both were delicious. Prices were reasonable and servings were plentiful!"
"Used to go here many times a couple years ago and loved it. Decided to go here yesterday and was not impressed! Very disappointed at how different it is. They don’t serve popcorn anymore, the dishes are not as good, and the vibe is just different. Not sure if they changed owners but it’s not as good as it used to be a couple years ago. The pizza was not good at all. Chicken parm was good. Service ok."
"We checked out Ravenswood Pub before a show at Proctors and had an awesome time. I ordered the fish fry a solid choice. Standard pub fare, but they understood the assignment. Another in my party got the hot turkey dinner enjoyed it too. The mashed potatoes were on point and it came with pub stuffing (a bit salty) and came with another side and a salad to boot. The atmosphere at Ravenswood was a typical pub. A bit noisy, but it's a large place. They had a live music duo playing tunes and TVs all over the place. Sunday's are for football and it's an official Bills Backer board. All in all, Ravenswood is a solid choice."
