"This place is not a friendly place and the service was so slow. My friend and I waited and there was no bread to start. Then when the food came, I asked for the Tabasco sauce with 3 different waiters/waitresses and still waited and my friend had to ask again in order to get the sauce she wanted to pair with the steak. We felt that we were being ignored and mistreated."

"I recently visited Eddie Merlot's for a special occasion, with the intent of enjoying their Chateaubriand. Though they didn’t have it available that day, which was a miss on my part for not checking in advance, the experience turned out to be delightful in unexpected ways. We opted for the filet mignon and bone-in ribeye instead. The filet mignon, part of the same cut as the Chateaubriand, was presented beautifully as three fillets, each accompanied by a different sauce. While I usually prefer my steak without sauce to appreciate the meat's natural flavor, it was an interesting experience to explore these variations. One of the fillets seemed to be a unique cut, possibly a tête or side muscle, adding a nice touch of variety to the meal. The ribeye, though not the best I've had, was tender and well-cooked, though I did miss the marbling typically found in high-quality cuts. Nevertheless, it was a satisfactory dish. The highlight of the meal, surprisingly, was the calamari. It was superb – incredibly crisp and light, reminiscent of high-quality tempura. The freshness of the oil and the accompanying wasabi sauce elevated the dish, making it a memorable part of our dining experience. To top off our special evening, we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary crème brûlée from the restaurant. This thoughtful gesture added a sweet ending to our meal. In summary, while the steak dishes were good, it was the calamari that truly stood out for me. It’s a dish I would come back for. Eddie Merlot's provided a lovely setting for our special occasion, and their attention to detail and customer care were much appreciated."

"Me and my family had just dined at eddie merlot to celebrate my sister and I passing our medical board exam and we had the pleasure of anthony being our server for the evening. Not only did he make us feel welcome but he took the time to know our culture ( haitian descent) and speak to us on a personable level. We had a bunch of laughs and anyone lucky to have anthony would feel like they won the lottery. Anthony you are the best and hope to visit again in the future ."
