"We bought a Subaru from Eric last summer. The whole experience was very pleasant, until the car didn't pass inspection for problems related to the ($1000) catalytic converter. Eric had his mechanic look at it and "fix" it. What that meant is that it passed inspection. Weeks later, we had to fix it for real. This summer, the front catalytic converter ($800) is going. That may be Subaru's fault, not Portside Auto's, but we have paid through the nose for this car, and the whole thing with the first cat smacked of shadiness."
