"Outstanding Best muffins I have ever had in my life. The lemon raspberry poppyseed is my favorite. Everything here is delicious. Lunch sandwiches are great. The turkey bog is awesome - fresh turkey and tasty cranberry spread. I appreciate the friendly staff and it’s always a pleasure to stop here and enjoy outstanding baked goods."

"Terrible sandwiches. We ordered two different types - two of the turkey sandwiches and one of the apple Brie ones. The sourdough bread it came with was stale, dry, and practically inedible. They also failed to put the cheddar cheese and the mayonnaise on BOTH the turkey sandwiches!! They listed it came with cheddar cheese but there was none. And it was so dry without mayonnaise and with the stale bread it was really not good. The Brie apple one had a terrible sauce on it that threw off the entire flavor of the sandwich and again with tough, stale, tasteless bread. In addition, when we came in practically every bakery item was sold out. It was still an hour to closing. I get that things sell out but to have everything gone and still be open for an hour speaks to a lack of preparation. It seems as if they should close earlier or make more so they have SOME items at least when customers come in later in the day."

"Dear Cottage - your muffins and dirt bombs are amazing. However, if you are going to charge me $9 for an egg sandwich, if should be materially better than my father would have made for me as a kid. It was on untoasted supermarket bread…and it wasn’t even warm….made with all the love and care of a rushed parent. Thank you for the muffins and no thanks for the sandwich. - cjm"

"Perfect stop for muffins and hot coffee (or other treats). We had the dirt bomb muffin (nutmeg muffin rolled in butter & cinnamon sugar). It was amazing!! Cute spot with outdoor seating."

"Great breakfast! The omelette sandwiches on croissant and bread are delicious. We also had muffins and scones, also good. The scones were moist and had the texture of muffins, not dry like we expected, nonetheless they were great. There was no line when we went which was awesome, unlike other breakfast places in the area. I'd recommend trying the specialty muffins that you can't get anywhere else. We had one called "dirtybomb" That was cinnamon and sugar, and a real treat."
