"I recently had a full tire change and rotation done at Cape Island and Tires, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received. The man at the front desk was efficient, knowledgeable, and made the entire process seamless. My car now feels like new thanks to their expertise. Highly recommend for anyone in need of top-notch tire service!"
"Had positive experiences in the past but very disappointed. Untrustworthy and grossly uneducated staff. Will lie to you in an attempt to up sell. Maybe the guy was agitated after a bad day, but why take the chance when you can get exemplary service down the road."
"Long story, short: got 2 trailer tires, one never held air. Brought the trailer back and parked it next to the building. Told the desk jockey the issue and that I'd parked it in the alley out of their way and I would return later. He mumbled something that I interpreted as assent. Fast forward, I return that afternoon to pick up my trailer. I go in and ask if my trailer is good to go. Guy says "Oh, the one you left right in our way all day long after I specifically asked you not to." At this point I'm a little confused. He tells me that he said they didn't have time to look at it and I should come back later. I apologize for the obvious misunderstanding, no big deal, right? He prints up an invoice and says "It was the stem, $25." Hmmm...I explain again how the new tire they put on never held air, so I'm not sure why you want me to pay you to fix it. He says, "A trailer tire would've been flat before now if we did it." I explain AGAIN that it WAS flat before today, I've been filling it every few days.... because it never held air....because your tech damaged it when it was originally put on. Blank stare in return. The result: I paid it...the last $25 I and everyone I know will spend at that dump."
"Came in looking for a written quote for 4 tires plus labor and taxes. Apparently too much for the jerk behind the counter who told me ‘I don’t play that game’ regarding prices. What? An actual quote is too much to ask? I said we’re done and walked out. No way I would ever do business here, and by the end of day I had hard quotes from 3 of his competitors. I went with Sullivan. I hope the owner of this business reads this. If it’s the guy behind the counter today, you must like watching business walk out the door."
"There add while on hold says free installation. When tire was quoted I was told install would be $15.00 and they don’t balance trailer tires. When I mentioned the add on the phone and I wanted the tire balanced I was told to go else where. I went to town fair."
