"I went in to look for an item that was listed as in-stock at this location. I went in on a Monday afternoon so it was pretty quiet. I asked one blue shirt and he found the wrong product from the wrong category. I found the item on the app and asked someone else. The pointed me to an aisle to look. No item by even the manufacturer there. Looked around some more, then asked again. I was instructed to then go back to the area and wait for someone. That person then came, looked up the item, set the item location to blinking. We found the spot in another aisle, inventory slot empty. I left the store with nothing but the re-confirmation that these stores no longer serve my needs."
"I was waiting on this but decided to just post as things haven’t gotten better. I purchased an open box fridge from this location this fall, it was in perfect shape just the floor model. During checkout I inquired about delivery and was told they can deliver it and move my old fridge, great. I have their totaltech membership,l and tried to apply it, but the crew member(assistant manager) working with me setup a new account and added a new membership then deducted the cost from the fridge for the new membership. I was confused at the time but thought he was just extending my current membership. The delivery arrives a couple days later, but now the fridge has dents all over the front, the bottom drawer is almost knocked off and the power cord plug has a prong broken off. The delivery driver proceeds to tell me you never order open box for delivery because they don’t repack it and it gets loaded and unloaded multiple times with just a thin bubble wrap. He then tells me not to accept the delivery after I asked what I could do, he says they won’t send someone out to repair it as I would be accepting it in that condition. So I don’t accept it, and now my other fridge is off and emptied so it could be moved and I have no fridge. I go into the store to try and figure this out and find out about the second account and new totaltech membership as it wasn’t under my account I have had for 10 plus years. I’m basically told once the truck is back we can return your money and order another fridge which has a 2 month delay. Immediately stated we cannot offer you any discounts on whatever other fridge you get, I had not asked this was just their immediate response to me. At this point I stopped shopping at this location and purchased a new fridge elsewhere. In the month of December. I had a store pickup and same day delivery and figured how could they mess up that. First order after 4 hours they inform me they don’t have the item in stock like stated on the website, also the backup was not in stock despite it also showing in stock online( these are not high demand items). Later in the month I order for same day delivery, I order around 10am. I proceed to get multiple notifications the item was in process and assigned a delivery driver until closing and then it says same day delivery not available."
"I will never return to the Leominster Best Buy store and probably not to any other Best Buy location either. I went in to look for a last minute present for my son on December 21st, and I found a great electric scooter marked at $244.95. I tried to confirm the price with an employee who didn't want to take a minute out of his busy day for me. Rather than checking on the item, he just said "the price is what is marked on the shelf" and went about his business which seemed to include only hanging around with another employee. I left the store with a plan to return on the following day to purchase the scooter. When I returned, the scooter was on the same shelf with the same price, and I will add that there were two of them on this shelf (obviously put there by an employee). I took one up to the counter, and it rang up at $589.99. When I spoke to the person on the floor, he was rude and said he can't help it if customers put products back on the wrong shelf. I was not as upset about the increased price, but more so that they tried to use this scenario to get me to sign up for a Best Buy credit card. They also took no measures to correct the mislabeled product. After I decided not to buy the scooter and picked up a XBox Back Bone instead, the same employee yelled at me for being in the wrong line and took a firm stand on being very unhelpful. In the end, I walked out with nothing, and found a very similar scooter on line at a similar price to what I originally expected. I used to go to Best Buy regularly for the good service and knowledgeable staff. I have actually been finding more qualified personnel at Walmart and Target recently. You would think with the competition from Amazon, these folks would try to difference themselves with exceptional service...Guess Not."
"Very unhappy with the service. I was scheduled to have in-home visit for TV repair. I received a voicemail 2 days before the scheduled appointment, stating that the appointment was cancelled because the TV was below the 42 in. The TV is 75 in not 42. I took time off from work to be home when the repair technicians come as the window that they gave me was between 07:00 am to 07:00 p.m.! I called within 5 minutes after receiving the voicemail and they could not give me back my previous appointment. The fee for Total Membership of $180 per year is a scam. Service is horrible."
"I went to Best Buy to find some really good wireless earbuds, and it turned out to be a great experience. One of the employees came up to me and asked if I needed help. I told him what I was looking for, and he suggested the Galaxy Buds2 Pro. He seemed like a total sound geek and knew his stuff. I trusted his advice and bought them. I'm super happy with my purchase because these earbuds sound amazing and fit really comfortably. Thanks to that employee."
