"John is the owner with 38 years of auto experience, one call did it all and he had my stuff at the register ready to go- fantastic!"
"These guys didn't have the part I needed in stock (snow chains) but they went above and beyond to check other locations and see if they could get something in that would work for me when I was stuck. Mark was super helpful. Would love to give them my business in the future!"
"I don't know the name of the young woman who assisted me last week but thank you so very much! I came in lost in the sauce and left with exactly what I needed. I asked her to help me make sure what I bought was right for my car and she went above and beyond to assist me and assured me if it wasn't right I could come back in to exchange it. She immediately packed my items in a big box for me to carry without even asking and I was so grateful. I needed oil and a filter for my car and she came over the asile with me to explain my options which I thoroughly appreciated since I know nothing about cars or the oil they need. I needed windshield wipers next and I asked her if they had more of the type I was hoping to buy and she quickly went to look and came back with another one for me. She made my experience not only positive but she was super polite and friendly and made sure to help me find exactly what I needed. I was actually a little nervous to go in and ask for help bc usually in the past (at other places) I've been spoked down to by the men who work there because I don't know anything. This was so far from that and has solidified that I'll for sure keep giving Carquest in Wilmington my business. Thank you so very much to the young woman who helped me. You deserve a raise!!"
"Except when their computers are down (which happens to all of us once in awhile) this is the best parts store I have ever had to deal with. Always helpful, has what I need or can get it fast. Just a great place to do business."
"This store is not practicing good Covid 19 procedures. If you are elderly,I wouldn't go there. It is a small store which was warm inside. I waited in line for 15 minutes with my mask on, one customer who was at the counter had no mask on and was ordering a lengthy list of things. The Clerk behind the counter had no mask on at all. The lady clerk had a cotton bandana on. SAhe was on the phone taking two orders at once. A man walked in with two kids and had no mask on at all. That is three people in a 25x25 sq, store with no protection. I being elderly felt, after waiting in line for 15 minutes without even being acknowledged being there, felt I had to leave because being at risk. I walked out and left the item on the shelve. They should require everyone to wear a mask before entering the store. Shaws next door demands it. There needs to be more discipline running that store."
