"I'm a caregiver for my 88 year old mil with breast cancer. Today she went for a PET scan and I was told I couldn't accompany her, I was only to walk her in and check her in. At time of check in I was told they would call when done, hour hour and a half. After 2 hours 15 minutes I went in and no one knew where she was!!! She was walked to the entrance and left there!!!! She is diabetic and forgetful and also unsteady on her feet just left. I finally found her coming through the doors after wondering the parking lot by herself. People like my mil need their caregivers to accompany them covid or not!"
