Windrifter Resort

"Place was beyond what was expected. Really great value for the money, plenty of things to do and beautiful rooms. Sauna and kitchen was a huge bonus. Nevermind the heated salt water pool with the perfect air temp. The barn was a really nice touch with lots of board games, and fun things to do. Very cozy! The pool table could use some loving but the fact that this place exceeded our expectations it still deserves 5 stars and worth recommending. Also a nice small diner downtown for some good breakfast but get there early with the limited seating! So it's also safe to say, the location is beautiful! This might be a new favorite! "One of the best places we've stayed in all of NH. They have an indoor, heated salt water pool! Plus a sauna that is available 24/7. There is a golf course abutting the property so the view is just beautiful. Perfect for a fall/winter vacation! We will be back!"

"The Windrifter is a fairly dated hotel - hard to call it a 'resort'. Their staff was friendly and accommodating, especially when we requested to change rooms after our initial room was directly across from the building entry door, making our door rattle/slam every time someone entered/exited the building through the entry. The walls are thin and you can't escape the noise of upstairs guests/kids running up and down the halls and in their room. Overall it was fine for one night."
