"My husband & I stayed for one night this week for a getaway from the world. Let’s say, wow…A Wonderful place to stay. The innkeepers Tom & Judy are such wonderful people, down to earth and really, truly want you to enjoy your time away from home. When you stay there, you know Tom & Judy love their home and truly enjoy what they’re doing. They have put so much work into restoring the place to it’s natural beauty. The B & B is a one-of-a kind treasure, full of beautiful antiques and that old world charm. Tom & Jusy have exceptional taste in decorative pieces and the B&B has that warm cozy feeling inside and out. You feel so welcomed when you pull into the driveway. All 3 bedrooms upstairs are gorgeous - so cozy, all individually unique and beautifully decorated. You have your own bathroom. You honestly can’t go wrong with which room you pick to stay in. We had the Fireside Room. So pretty. Next visit we’ll stay in one of the other rooms to try out. Breakfast was wonderful. Judy can cook the most delicious meal! Her double chocolate muffins were to die for! We filled out a slip the evening before of what time we wanted breakfast and you can include any food restrictions you may have. Coffee was already brewing early at 6 (we mentioned we’re early risers), and they also have a kerig ready for even earlier risers. (Something you don’t get at a Hotel usually). Let’s say we felt pampered. Fine dining tableware, beautiful white teacups and saucers. I could sit in their dinning room all morning just enjoying everything about it. Just gorgeous. You’re surrounded with antiques and craftsmanship. We didn’t feel rushed to check out. We ran into the other couple that was staying there. We had a good 1/2 hr chat over coffee before they left. They were wonderful. Crossing paths with the other travelers is always one of the fun parts of B&Bs. They’re down to earth good folks, like you looking to escape their world for a bit. We highly recommend this B&B if you want to relax, enjoy your coffee and experience. (It’s not like a Hotel with kids running down the hallways, banning on the walls.) You actually don’t want to leave once you’re there. Can’t wait to visit in the summer. The pics are of the dinning room and sitting rooms."
