"My husband and I stayed here for 8 months when our landlord almost doubled our rent! The owner, Dorothy, was nothing short of incredible the entire time we stayed here! She allows dogs in the motel and always greeted Belle with kindness and of course treats! No this is no resort however it’s a nice place to stay and the staff has always been incredible... also there’s a number posted if anyone needed to get in touch with the manager while the office was closed! Any time I reached out she’d immediately respond! All in all a great model to stay at!"
"For parents of students visiting the area or anyone at all looking for lodging in the Farmington area, I would advise you to steer clear of this motel. First and foremost, it is a welfare motel and the majority of people there live there. Although the woman at the front desk was pleasant enough, the place is scary. The residents stay up all hours of the night carrying on inside and outside of the rooms. The walls are paper thin, and I had to listen to the resident in the room next to me have a loud, expletive laden conversation for over an hour in the middle of the night as well as his blaring tv throughout the night into the morning hours. I am disabled and impaired, and not being able to sleep at all made me incredibly sick the next day. The child of a family two or three doors down approached me and my son while we were trying to leave the parking lot, speaking incoherently and so close to my car I couldn't pull out safely, while her parents chain smoked and sat at a picnic table bench looking on but doing nothing. The room was spacious but in disrepair, especially the bathroom, which was so gross we didn't want to use it at all, let alone have to shower in it. I had to buy towels for us to use because the ones provided were stained and disgusting. I was so afraid of roaches or rodents, I had to keep everything off the floor. Thankfully I didn't see any, but the condition of the room could certainly provide plenty of entry points for such. I was so fearful of the people and the conditions, that I stayed somewhere else the last night of my visit, losing $$$. Outrageous that a room here would cost over $100 a night! The place should be condemned. You couldn't pay be to stay there again. The other two motels in Farmington aren't much better, but this place is like a crack den. I feel so upset that I exposed my son to such a decrepit and potentially dangerous stay before sending him off to school."
"The room wasn’t as bad as I feared. The floor appeared to be new. The smell wasn’t terrible. But the room itself was obviously dated. The bathroom was quite disgusting. The floor appeared wet and very old. But the biggest problem was the bed. The bed was a log. It was like laying on concrete. Only 2 pillows were on the bed for both my husband and myself , none others in the room. The pillows were completely flat and hard. I went to the lobby to request more pillows at 10:30pm. They had a sign up saying they were closed until 2pm the next day, what? We ended up leaving the hotel and driving home 2 hours in the dark to keep from sleeping on this concrete disaster. This place appears to be more of a long term stay option for the homeless. That’s fine. Don’t expect anything other than that."
"Our first concern was the enormous pot holes in the driveway. The office smelled of cat urine. The room that we stayed in for fewer than 5 minutes had stained and torn carpeting. There was debris on the bathroom floor, and the small was awful. I gave four stars for service because they were willing to refund out money."
"For the price it was okay. Seems like some people are using it as housing which is fine but they were hanging out being noisy till after 11pm right near our window, and not be respectful of other’s. Went to check out the next day and office is closed was closed till 2pm which I found odd just a note stating to leave key in box, also we kept smelling what I could only think to be cat urine, but everything looked clean and the place just needs some TLC."
