"We are out of state and looking to relocate to Maine, the realtor we were dealing with certainly did not do her homework. We made two trips to Maine with 2 houses in mind, separate trips. The first house was a major disaster after a relative that lives in Maine went to look at the house with the realtor first. So we took an 8 hour drive and the selling agent and our agent did not have all there ducks in a row. Needless to say the house did not pass an inspection. So we came up with 3 more houses the next trip. Our agent commented if the house was a good build or not because apparently her husband is a builder. Once again she did not do her homework because she said things about the property that was not true. Our offer was turned down and they counter offered and neadless to say we are still looking for a house and we are not dealing with the realtor. I told her if this house does not happen, we are not dealing with you."
"Since I see the poor performance review for this business, I should also share my experience that I had with them. I had my house listed, and I am disabled. That personal notation about myself is appropriate to mention, because of how the business owner handled my experience. While away, my home was shown more than once. Upon arriving back home myself, I came to find that my freezer door was not shut and I had a total food loss to file a claim over. It was said to me that a scent was noted on the second visit, but nothing at all was ever mentioned to me until I arrived home myself. The business owner later had the gall to claim that it was onions left on the counter. Those were still perfectly fine after only a couple of weeks. The house was shown, the second time, stinking of rotting meat from my freezer. Again, nothing at all was ever said to me. The owner decided, after beating around the bush trying to communicate with me about how it was handled fine on their end, to show up at my home unannounced. The business owner tried to court a deal on the side, for me to accept a partial reimbursement for the claim that was already filed. A claim that is still on my personal loss reports (which affect your insurance premiums). This realtor clearly has a track record of not having the property owners best interest at heart, only her own. Having mentioned my physical predicament earlier, it was then clear from the start that this realtor did not even have the respect enough to be up front with me, nor to be on the record about it. Well, here is the record now. I lost a lot of money over that food claim; not to mention the potential offer from the second showing.. That is, if the house did not stink from the first showing. Thanks to the class-less nature of County Seat Realty."
"Jodi from County Seat Realty helped my family and I find a vacation home on a lake. Our search spanned over many months and a few different lakes - which happened to be nowhere near each other. When we found a property we were interested in, Jodi got busy doing research on the septic plans and past comparative sales so that we could make an educated offer. She was honest, informative, and did some out of the box thinking to try and get off market listings for us using her vast local network. Jodi's warm personality helped us feel at ease throughout what can be a very emotional process. Jodi went above and beyond for us, and we were happy to have found her!"
"These people are so refreshing and helpful. I enjoyed working with them and ha e found my perfect home. I feel they made it possible. Thank you !"
"Worst Realtor and property manager in Franklin County. But at least they are fair: the treat buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants all the same: very poorly! My property was listed with them for over a year, not one offer! When they managed the property as a rental, they got me one deadbeat tenant after another. Once they collect the first month's rent they could give a darn."
