"This was a really great facility, immaculately clean and set up to accommodate both families (new playgrounds and pool) and people looking for seclusion and quiet. The bathrooms were spotless and decorated in a very cute manner. My spot was down by the stream, big, quiet and scenic. Of course I forgot what seemed like half of my supplies, and this store had everything I needed, with the exception of a sponge, which one of the owners dug out from her own supplies and very kindly delivered to my campsite. I was also unprepared with enough cold-weather gear, and she also let me one of her own quilts. Very nice folks, great facility! Looking forward to returning."
"The four sites my family and I had for a four night stay were very roomy and well maintained. Everyone there were very friendly with a relaxing vibe. We had a great time riding sxs, swimming and just hanging out together."
"Lone Mountain was a total surprise when we visited this RV campsite at the end of September 2023, in our 30' motorhome. The owners are very personable and visited our site on the first night to see how we settled in. The park is very well-maintained and the location perfect if you like hiking and touring. You are close to mountain hiking and waterfall hikes, multiple. We only stayed 2 nights but plan to book a week next year to make sure we get in more hiking, the beautiful countryside and this perfect campsite. Showers/Restroom are fantastic, great WiFi reception and nice and quiet this time of year. For those with kids, they have a new pool w/slide and are building a pavilion and other amenities for the 2024 season. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did."
"planned a 5-night stay. As I knew Northeast has been exceptionally wet. June's flooding was apparent along the river with standing water in places it's not usually this time of year. As result lots of mosquitoes to enjoy. Got a few hours of clear night seeing in and was impressed with the dark sky view. Apple island tent sites were spacious, clean. Riverbank very steep. Was cool & cloudy for most of my visit so no swimming. they have a beach looked nice. I will return God willing."
"Definitely recommend this place! We rented the camper for 5 nights and it was great! The place was spotless and all the essential items were supplied -stuff like towe cooking supplies, extra blankets. The owners, Toby and his wife (sorry I forgot her name) are super nice and helpful. They even deliver fire wood to you site. The bathhouse is super clean! Looking forward to staying again. t"
