"If I could give more stars, I would - 5 just isn't enough. The hospitality, kindness and general care this team showed during our stay/hunt was phenomenal. We had clean rooms and some of the best food I have ever had. This family truly cared about our stay and did everything they could to make our hunt a success. This was a first for me, but will now be a reoccurring activity specifically at this lodge. I truly feel like I have a 2nd family in Maine now."

"My journey with homestead lodge started 2 years ago,, after spending hours on the internet looking at several places and outfitters I found the homestead lodge,, I called and after a lengthy conversation with the owner I knew this was the best place to go,, so I talked to the guys and we booked our trip the next day, 2 years later here we are at the Homestead Lodge,, I felt like I was at home,, greeted by an amazing staff,, the lodge is stunning!!! The food was some of the best home cooked meals ever and the deserts OMG! WERE AMAZING!!!! WE WERE ALL SUCCESSFUL!!! We will definitely be back, This is by far the greatest hunting experience I've ever had, thank you Scott , Trisha , Paul, Hunter, Mariah Dakota, Lenny and Martin. Thank you Jr Davis"

"A wonderful place to stay! I highly recommend staying here, especially if you're snowmobiling! The room, bathroom and entire lounge/restaurant area were super clean. The family who runs it are great! They're very friendly and it almost feels like you're staying with friends, rather than at a B&B. It's also pretty neat to wake up and see Bison grazing right outside! We booked last minute and had a smaller room, but were able to use the living room area to gear up in the morning and take off our stuff at night- we were able to leave our gear near the pellet stove so it would dry out and be warm for the next morning. We really enjoyed that they served breakfast each morning to overnight guests, fueling us up before we hit the trails! *Another bonus is that they have gas on-site!* After a long day riding, it was nice to return and take a hot shower and then sit down at the bar and have a drink/snack before bed. The atmosphere was very convivial! We loved it so much that while we were there we ended up booking another trip in a few weeks!"

"Excellent. Place. The new owners have really turned this place around. My wife and I spent our 1st anniversary there in January.. we had an amazing time. Great people great food and good drinks. Family run and super kind. We are going back this week then probably once more before winter. LOVE it!!!"
