"The reason i gave such a high rating is that, for one, i did not expect very much. I traveled to Fort Kent on a business trip and this was one of two options. I stay at a lot of corporate chain hotels so i was a bit nervous. But when i walked into the lobby, i felt good. The lady behind the desk was super-friendly, which was reassuring because i'm certain i looked like i 'was not from around here'. The place is all one-story, which i usually hate. I was in the back building. I walked into the room as was thoroughly pleased. Country. Cozy. Good wi-fi. Well-maintained. Great price, great value. Very convenient to the shops & restaurants (the restaurant in the front parking lot is awesome for breakfast). Honestly, couldn't have asked for much more. And i bought me a souvenir!"

"Business trip and found the rooms to be very clean and well maintained. I was worried because there was not a coffee maker in the room, but the front desk kept a large pot of fresh coffee available 24/7. Room had a microwave and frig. Was focused on getting work done and this was the perfect place."

"We were traveling through the area and stayed here. The rooms are very large, the continental breakfast was a little sparse but we made it work. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. We used the laundry facilities which was very handy. The only down side was the tavern down on the main road had a live band and it was very loud at night when we were trying to asleep. Obviously this is not something that the hotel can control."

"Excellent and exactly what I was looking for...pet friendly, in my travel-price range and where I needed it to be. Good, clean decently sized room. Bed was newer and good. Staff was very helpful. This is an older, smaller motel, but excellently maintained. Pet Friendly!! Small town has multiple eating choices."
