"Pretty store, but sold the wrong shoe size and store owner was rude on the phone and would not send return shipping label for me to EXCHANGE the shoe. In the store I asked for a size US 9. The sandal I was given felt tight and I was told there were no other larger sizes and what I had was a US 9 and the leather would give. When I got back home I tried it on and it just looked so small. Even if the leather gives, the base that your foot sits on would is way too short. I compared it to other Italian sandals I have and it is in fact smaller than all of the others. So, this cannot be a size 9... I Took a look at the shoe box and it says EU 39/US 8. I figured this was a simply error and I was given the wrong box, a whole size too small. If the label had said "IT 39" then this would in fact be a US 9 - alas it does not - I mentioned this to Antonio who says he owns the store and he says his factory mislabeled the boxes and I actually have a 9. He was disinterested in learning and was arrogant on the phone, he got flustered, interrupted a lot and did not really listen to learn and try to make the situation right. When asked, he vaguely said they have their own Antinori shoe sizing scale - they do not follow EU or IT. Totally bizarre and unnecessary and was not told this while shopping. As a woman who buys shoes, I think his boxes are labeled correctly - he just needed to give me the correct shoe box and this all could have been avoided. Or in general, let customers know his shoes run small or large compared to US market which he is selling to. So now I have to pay to return a shoe that they incorrectly sold me and hope they "receive" the shoe. With the attitude, I am not this store will last and although I like the sandal, I am concerned what was a nice shopping experience with my boyfriend is now tainted with a rude store owner so not sure I could even enjoy the sandal in the correct size."

"Read about this shoe store after reading about the Biden´s visit. On my last trip to Nantucket, I stopped in just to browse... I walked out with 3 pairs of shoes! And I could have easily picked one of each style they had... they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn."
