"Food in Nantucket is very expensive, Stop and Shop kept the price down with good quality of produce and basic necessities without breaking the bank."

"Very racist nick picking on black people for absolutely no reason . Walked into the store with my family we stopped in a isle to shop we started talking and making TikTok’s then a employee comes up to us and says this isn’t a play ground shop or get out then proceeded to say if you don’t shop I’ll have you escorted . We then went to talk to the manger he seemed as if he didn’t care , we went to go ask another employee what the guys name was she then proceeded to say you find out on your own it’s not my issue being slick for absolutely no reason . The customer service is horrible . We don’t need to be treated like this for absolutely nothing . We will be calling corporate ! Have a horrible day . I also believe that the lady’s name was alina or whatever that roach name was ."

"Me and my family where in stop and shop and we stopped to do Tik Toks and a tall guy was racist and told us to stop horsing around and threaten to get us escorted out because we where dancing enjoying family time this is my first time in Nantucket and I’m sad that I had to experience that when we asked for help and the manager completely ignored us and another employee saying we where tripping and just overall a bad experience"

"Prices are definitely higher than off-island - but it’s a solid and clean shop. Can sometimes be less busy than the “bigger” Stop & Shop - trade off is less variety."

"If you need groceries on the island, this is your option! That said, they had a surprisingly good selection. The only issues is that some of the local, prepared options (refrigerated, their brand) were lackluster and the prices were high, but the latter is true of most of the island venues. It would be nice if there was another grocery place that didn't have such competitive downtown parking, but I got exactly what I needed and the cashiers were friendly and helpful!"
