"We rented boards and suits for the day. A one hour lesson came with the rental. The instructor was very personable and quickly knew the names of all 6 participants and was addressing everyone by name. Very helpful and encouraging in the water. I believe this is a husband and wife team and they are both fantastic. Highly recommend."
"Blake was awesome with my newbie kiddos. Just enough 1:1 time for my 12 yo son to ride a few his first time out! Priceless!"
"We had such a fun time at our lesson and using the equipment afterwards. Our instructor was very helpful and awesome and took some amazing pictures of us. Cute shop and great lessons. Would do again!"
"Had an amazing surfing experience at Corner's this past weekend! They were super accommodating of our last minute booking and their pricing was well below what we expected. Our instructor was awesome, making this a very beginner-friendly activity. The early morning time slot also allowed us to beat the crowds to the beach! We definitely recommend this to anyone who passes through Old Orchard Beach. - Nikki and David"
"Sadly surfing is clearly not a hidden talent of mine (need to work on my upper body strength I think!) but had fun trying anyway - Blake is friendly, banter-ful, and encouraging in trying to get everyone to make it up onto the board. Parked at a parking lot round the corner, and got given a wetsuit at the shop (can change in the public restrooms literally next door), and can leave a small bag of belongings in the cupboard to the side of the shop (behind a gate so its secure). Spent about 10 mins on the sand (left sandals & a bottle of water here, they stayed safe), each taking it in turn to attempt the 'pop-up' technique. Then we went into the water (harder than it seems with the board, or maybe that was just me!) and Blake takes it in turns with each member of the group (5 in total) waiting for the perfect wave, setting you off to paddle, then letting you know when its time to get up. Very patient with everyone. You can try to catch waves yourself in between if you feel confident enough. You can keep the wetsuit & board all day too if you like. We were knackered after one hour though so headed back to hose off and change. Would recommend"
