"Bought a sweatshirt and a blanket and both were damaged. Sweatshirt was ripped and the blanket had holes in it. Wouldn’t allow an exchange and the coward owner wouldn’t even look me in the eyes when I asked for one. Shop anywhere else."

"I don’t normally leave reviews, but I had to for this business. Beware to all shoppers! If you are not paying close attention, chances are they are going to be rude, raise the price, and scam you. Unfortunately, my family wasn’t paying close enough attention and misheard the cashier when she said the total while checking out and they charged us over $150 for two items (water shoes and a hoodie- later looking at the price tags and seeing they should have been $55!). They also do not itemize their receipts- sketchy! Yes I know shame on us for not speaking up, but shame on them for being rude and taking advantage of people! I also couldn’t help but notice that it was hard to find their business on Google - looks like they recently did a name change, so OOB buyers beware of Atlantic Beachwear!"

"I went in today with my sister, my son and my niece. I asked the owner where the 3xl sweaters were, he pointed towards the back of the store and then said I could not have my soda in the store. I left it at the register and continued shopping. My so. Settled on a toy for 9.99, I got a sticker for 3.99. I also purchased a 6 pack of 1 1/4 raw cones which go for at most 4 dollars in all my years of buying these cones. The owner rang me up, I did not hear the total because I’m deaf but I figured it would be 20$ at the most. I asked for a receipt: 30.71!! I said no way absolutely not! I asked him nicely how he arrived to this total. The receipt was not itemized and the price for the cones was not posted. Arguing back and forth, I finally realized he charged me 14$ for the cones and I asked for a refund on the cones because I would NEVER PAY THAT MUCH. He was extremely rude to me. His employees picked on my son for simply touching the toys. The owner refused to allow me To return the cones and he was very angry with me saying “ you’re making me look bad! “. I said how am I making you look bad when I’m just trying to figure out how we got to 30 dollars?!?!? I will never go to that store again and If anyone does go there can you let me know if he’s still charging 14 dollars for those cones? Terrible customer service, I was fuming for a little while after but I refuse to let it ruin my vacation…. Check your receipts and purchases twice before u hand your card over! This applies to any type of touristy place. The store is called Atlantic something. Don’t let these people overcharge you of ur hard earned money!!!!!!!"

"The owner of this store is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! I went into the store with the intention of buying both my kids souvenirs and toys and walked out after being harassed and yelled at by the owner. Probably would've spent at least $50. Many other stores in the area to shop at if you're wanting something for your kids. Word to the owner, if you don't want kids in your store, don't put kids toys in the window."
