Aunt Leah's Fudge

"I visited this shop on my last vacation. It had been nearly 25 years since I ate my first piece of fudge from this shop, and the same exact bench I used to sit on is still there. I still remember sitting with my siblings, my legs dangling as I happily chomped on this delicious treat, it really brought back memories...only now I'm almost too big to sit on the bench! whether you're staying in Nantucket for a day or a month, you have gotta try this fudge before leaving. It is extremely sugary, very dense, but oh so good. They have many different flavors to choose from. My favorite has always been the chocolate-peanut butter fudge, creamy, delicate, perfect blend of velvety cocoa and dense, rich peanut! The chocolate fudge bar is also a must-try, it is a beautiful deep brown, creamy and is a must for chocolate lovers and my personal favorite since I was a kid! Pace yourself, though, lads, for this fudge really is wonderfully dense! Don't forget to check out their website, because even when you go back home, they can ship out orders to you! And trust me, you're gonna want to! They also offer other items, like saltwater taffy and chocolate covered pretzels. The staff were friendly 25 years ago, and 25 years later, they are still just as sweet as the desserts that they sell. They are helpful, and very kind, and great at suggesting new flavors of fudge to you! They even offer small samples so you can get an idea of what you like before buying a bar. "Best fudge and chocolate covered cranberries in Massachusetts. Only thing is you have to take a trip to get these special treats but so wirth it..I found this little hidden jem shop, by walking by. I could smell the fudged from the streets. I followed my nose to this little shop and found a loving woman behind the counter cutting up pieces of fudged..lovely little place to get some sweet treats...Definitely become a must see everytime I go to the island. And now finding out I can have it delivered to my house on maine land im suppor stoked....if your in the area you must stop by this shop."

"Very kind and friendly staff, a very enthusiastic and bustling enviroment during peak buisness hours, calm small local shop during slow hours. Owners are sweet (like their fudge lol) and fun to talk to. They offer a wide selection of classic, original made in-house flavors of fudge. They also carry some penny candy style jars of candy aswell as pre wrapped gifts. If you're coming fresh off the boat to Nantucket, this needs to be one of the first places you need to go!"
