"Small museum. Cost 10 bucks a person to get in. Paid meter parking, next to children's museum. Mostly Bigfoot stuff but if you take time to read and look lots of other fun things from the area. Liked how both real and hoaxes were displayed. Gift shop is reasonable and cute. Definitely recommend stopping by"
"It's a cool little spot. Not a big place. Staff was so friendly. For $10, I'd say it was worth it. I'd like to see it grow into something bigger, it has potential. You should go!"
"Family-friendly museum of strange creatures like Big Foot, Loch Ness Monster, and Mothman. Many figurines and cool images. There's even an exhibit about Big Foot's poop if you're into that end of things."
"LOVED IT!! Even if you're not into CrytpoZ, it's a fascinating place to go. They present the gathered evidence and let YOU decide if you believe, or not! Everything from classic Bigfoot, Nessie, to diving into all the Mountain Lion sightings in New England and if Tasmanian Tigers might NOT be extinct in Australian outback. Plenty of parking, $2 for all day and it's only 1 building away from the Children's Museum. I honestly think it's a great way to get kids interested in biology, zoology, and other life sciences."
"Overall good experience. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable especially about Bigfoot. What I enjoyed was that there is lots of cool information about local sightings of cryptids and other creatures, even some maps showing what creatures have been seen in which areas. Lots of interesting local history. Definitely some unique displays, although it is a bit cluttered. Additionally, I was sad because the website mentions mermaids specifically which is one of the big draws why I went, and there is only one very tiny case with mermaid information that I actually walked past and didn’t see the first time. So that kind of sucked. There was a fun display about Cassie the Casco Bay Sea Serpent that was pretty cool though. Overall my husband and I both enjoyed, and I think it’s probably an even better experience if you have kids."
