"Saved my life! It was a struggle, believe you and me at first, but in the end Dr Munir was right to not to feed my addiction to stimulants. Work with him, he is working in your best interest."
"Had doctor Munir boy did he suck. Had me take a med. that made me sick. Didn't get back to me for 4 days!!! Very very unprofessional."
"With nothing to hide and pride from the fact that despite all my progress Boston Neuro Behavioral and namely Dr. Mohammed Munir, MD has been unable to knock me off of my road to recovery , despite their best efforts. See I am a dual diagnosed mental health patient and substance addict, with many years in treatment and defeating a lifelong battle with alcohol as well having not had alcohol for years, due to in great deal to the treatment for depression ,ptsd and various other mental illness. Unfortunately I had through a mixup lost my provider before Dr.Munir began 5o make and break appointment after appointment, causing me seriously dangerous withdrawal symptoms. If they were not going to keep these appointments I should have been fair warned and told to find another provider. Time after time they promised to meet with me and " take care of everything" expeditiously. Quite the opposite Finding more reason for cancellation of phone appointment none the less. The easiest way to never miss an appointment I was forced on one occasion in the midst of this travesty of healthcare. Total negligence, with a great possiblity of death as a result. Not to mention the bouts of feeling suicidal, a level of suicidal ideation that I had never once experienced in such a strong manner. Also when I was originally through Pyschology Today attempting to get my appointment I was as close to the edge as I feel comfortable saying, I will though , because if one patient who is having difficulty explaining the situation and downright cruel behavior of Dr . Munier and his fellow Boston Neuro Behavioral Associates colleagues. It's rather a shame, to further discuss what Dr Munier was doing was suggesting I go to detox, despite not talking too much and abusing my medication, through no fault of my own I was forced to take much less than after nearly 20 years of being treated with the same medication he was willing to stop abruptly despite it's deadly extremely fatal withdrawal. I was also lied to by his several varying secretary in order to avoid continuity of cars and those with knowledge of the situation he would deploy a new different worker in order to start things over, yes indeed I heard his "other secretary clearly I'm the background. I have seen some reviews on him being friendly, I can't reconcile this with the utter peril he had left my life in, hanging in the balance. As well as him being aware that I , because I agreed at the end of October when I originally had an appointment that I was willing to work with him , as he asked just as so" are you willing to work with me?" I said of course absolutely. Quickly informed me that Gabapentin a medication that I was on he would not prescribe them, so I agreed . This being the case and him promising to see me as a patient with the plan now in place to ween me safely off, yet due to him cancelling, as well as lying and not even calling during my appointment times. Whicheing I have record of him failing to do so. First to any parents please watch this Doctor better than any doctor ever before. I am able to speak for myself and realize that Dr.Munir is endangering my life and at best my well being. When a patient is responding to therapy and making great strides towards betterment of the patients future the last thing you want is a doctor who because of many reasons not the least is a great deal of arrogance , bordering on a god complex to leave in the lurch such an individual. Exactly what Dr. Munir is perpetuating, the biggest roadblock in my recovery since the drugs I was once addicted.I have fought a very difficult battle in which through a lot of Great Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Clinicians, community outreach I have been able to gain some semblance of a normal respectable life. I was told by a trained pyschiatrist that I should go to a detox at a time when I am 3 years clean , doing my weekly therapy and getting well rather than continue what has been working. Don't put fragile states of beingn hands of a doctor who could very well through negligence end our being."
"If your a person with a job and need paperwork filled out don't bother coming here. Evidently Paula DeAlmeida is the only one that does it and I'm still getting phone calls from short term disability (so I can get paid) that she STILL hasn't sent all required paperwork and my leave was in January. Dr. Munir is really nice, but unfortunately you risk getting screwed out of money or losing your job because she also passes deadlines on State Issued paperwork that is time sensitive"
"My son really responds well to Dr. Munir. He feels comfortable with him and trusts his care and advice. This is very important and I’m grateful that they were able to form this relationship. My son really benefits from the care he receives in Dr. Munir’s office."
