Southcoast Laboratory Services at the Greater New Bedford Community Health Center offers fast and convenient test results through our on-site Southcoast Health Laboratory. Appointments are preferred for laboratory services, but walk-ins are now accepted at select locations. COVID-19 testing and hospital labs still require appointments. Our full-service labs in Massachusetts and Rhode Island provide stat/urgent testing, reference testing, anatomic pathology, and cytology services. Specimens are collected locally and promptly analyzed at our licensed laboratories. Our team of board-certified pathologists ensures accurate results and patient comfort throughout the visit. With ample parking and waiting space, our locations prioritize convenience and accessibility. Our Laboratory Outreach program extends services to nursing homes, rehabilitation hospitals, home-bound patients, and 15 patient service centers in the region.
