"I was greeted by a wonderful lady Jeannie who listened to me concerns and assured me I was in the right place. I was quickly met by nurse Jillian who took me into a room listened to me and took some tests she was attentive and compassionate as well and said the doctor would be in shortly and she was not wrong he arrived within 3 minutes Dr. Temple entered the room and spoke with me as well as doing an assessment. He said the results would be back momentarily and to my surprise he was right. The staff was amazing and the wait time was beyond my expectations of what could have been a long wait. The whole visit took approximately a half hour .Job well done! A very positive experience and to comment on the cleanliness of the facility it was spotless sterile and patient friendly!"
"Went there for extreme pain and only had my vitals checked, was told to take Tylenol, was given an anti inflammatory shot (that did nothing) and told me to go home. The nurse was incredibly rude and told me that there was nothing they could do and I had to wait for a specialist appointment (which is almost a month booked out!) At no point was i examined physically, i didn’t even have blood drawn or someone examine me closely. Do not go here if you are in pain, they will not take you seriously."
"The wait time is ridiculous!!!!! The front desk is very nice but this is totally unacceptable. After sitting for hours with sciatica and bursitis, I was told they could not give me anything because I have MS! I was sent home only to end up in the ER by ambulance the next day. Another time my dad was there for almost the entire day. He was then sent home with a prescription for the exact medication he was already taking even though he had given them a complete printout of all his meds when he walked in!"
"This review does not reflect the staff that works at BILH Urgent Care - Quincy, but I have a huge complaint regarding the doctor who saw me today. His name is Dr. Edward Curcio and he was seriously the meanest doctor I've ever met in my life. As soon as he walked in he asked me what I was there for and when I explained it to him (something you can literally google), he said "hm never heard of that, don't know what to do with that".... like WHAT??! And he literally just stared at me, not talking, not smiling, just made me super uncomfortable and made me feel like he did NOT want me there as I told him my symptoms and concerns and why I was there. Like his entire body language and smug attitude just was so so off-putting. I literally cried when he left the room. Luckily he did run some tests but I think it's only because I said my primary doctor's nurse asked me to come in and get this this and that done to be on the safe side prior to my appointment that's not for a few more days. **This guy should not be a doctor. He obviously hates his job."
"Aha this experience was so poorly executed I can't help but laugh looking back at it. I came in with a terrible case of the Norovirus. For those of you who don't know, it's a lovely stomach bug that makes holding down even the slightest drop of fluid impossible. Vomit, stomach pains, tremendous shakes, you name it. I got myself on the queue through their website and arrived on time. They took me in, checked my vitals, and then proceeded to keep me in the room for two hours. No particular reason! At one point, I walked out of the exam room and asked, "can I please leave?" The nurse nonchalantly walked it another 15 minutes later, asking if I was ready to go. So there was no point in me sitting there? What was really upsetting is that they sent my prescription for anti-nausea to the wrong pharmacy, the one I explicitly told them not to. When I called them back and told them to please send it to the one near my home, she said she couldn't, that she's not able to do that, and, "can't you just go to the other pharmacy? It doesn't look that far from you anyway." Yup, those words exactly. Well, turns out she can call the pharmacies to change where my medication goes because the pharmacy she chose actually ran out, so she ended up calling my requested pharmacy and sending it there anyway (as I know she could since plenty of providers have done this for me in the past). I spent hours chasing my medication, calling pharmacies, and pleading with her to please just send the medication to the right pharmacy. Her casualness and carelessness came through pretty clearly both in person and on the phone. Thanks to this debacle, I continued to vomit until I got the medication hours later. There are many urgent cares in the area. Don't go to this one. The last thing two things you want to be doing are 1. waiting forever at the location 2. waiting forever for medication you really, really need."
