"I recently had my first appointment at this new North Shore Neurology location, it was fantastic! I have been a patient of NSN for years, traveling to their Beverly location and now they opened a location closer to my home. I was hesitant to change my appointments from Beverly to Reading, but commuting was an issue for me. My worries were diminished, I was able to meet Dr. Shastri and her NP Jean. They were so welcoming and answered my questions honestly and without a rush! NSN's communication, bedside manner, care & time providing during visits was similar to my years at Beverly NSN. I'm so happy the practice has expanded and more wonderful medical professionals are part of my care team."

"If I could put one star I would. I can’t provide an overview of the neurologist, as this was my FIRST time. With that being said, that office as whole is the most poorly run establishment I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing, and I’ve been in a hospital setting in different capacities my entire life. The ‘secretary’ could not have been more unprofessional, rude, and just plain out incompetent; Didn’t know were my files were and made me start filling out the packet until I had her check her system (didn’t want to do the extra work), spoke to my girlfriend and I with such disrespect and ignorance that we left with our eyes wide. I had to return to schedule my follow up, as she decided not to initiate. When I did, she did not have a mask on after scolding myself and others to put one on, even though I’m exempt due to my condition. There is now clear reason as to why every other neurologist in the area is booked for months and they took me right away. The office manager then decided to call me while I was on the phone with my insurance (filing an official complaint) and continuously lie, seemingly regurgitating what her “staff members” said, and even said I reached through the glass to take the picture. That picture is on my phone of the secretary with no mask on, 5 feet from the opened glass. She did not allow for me to provide any context, rather said I wouldn’t be a good fit and that was I aggressive by asking for the manager and why my paperwork wasn’t available. Save yourself some trouble and the stress (you know, the main trigger of neurological issues, that of which I was being treated for) and wait it out for an office that will treat you like a patient rather than a number."
