Coastal Medical - Waterman Pediatrics

"I am so so frustrated with this practice. The doctor asked us to leave the practice because we did not wish to follow their routine schedule/policy. We didn't question it or anything, we just agreed it was not a good fit and we will willingly leave without a fuss. So I requested my son's medical records 3 months ago and after being turned around in so many directions I finally received them. If you are going to tell patients to leave your practice, then you need to be better at getting us our children's medical records. It is not the company they outsourced fault, I was told by the office staff the first time to fill out a form (that was handed to me) and email it to the office. So I did. I received an email back and thought, great I should be all set. Then a couple of weeks later when I hadn't heard anything I checked on it and they told me to do it online that they don't do it in office.Ok, not what I was told the first time but I did. Then a couple weeks later I hadn't heard back so I call to check on it and I was told they switched companies. So I had to do it again. So I did. Then I paid to have them mailed through that company to my new pediatrician and they still did not receive them. I finally today, 3 months of this, received them via email and will be printing them myself and hand delivering them to the new doctor. My son has now missed informational first year well being appointments because of this and it has been so frustrating of a process for a new parent."

"I called Waterman Pediatrics while pregnant with my first child to place him on the waiting list for when he was born. The receptionist who answered the phone was extremely nice and knowledge. She answered all my questions regarding the practice, the practice's views on medical decisions and care, etc. After my son was born, I called to schedule his first visit and the office was extremely accommodating and fit us in to see Dr. Finigan. It has been a few months now and we love the practice, especially Dr. Finigan. He is great with children, very thorough and attentive to our needs. Any time we have a concern, the practice has doctors on call and will fit you in their schedule for any last minute concerns or sick visits. We highly recommended this office."
