"We are a family that travels across the country every few months for my husbands work as a contract nurse. We have been to many pediatricians over the years. Here are some of our takeaways from our time at PediWest. Dr. Daley is a wonderful pediatrician, he takes his time with us each time we are in, be it for a sick or well visit. He does a great job explaining his process, treatment plans, and reasoning behind his diagnosis or why there is no need for concern. He is friendly, gentle to the kids, silly and extremely personable. If you want a pediatrician who can level with you and make sure you leave understanding everything that was discussed, he’s your guy. The one star for this entire review, is only because of him, and he deserves to be recognized for how wonderful he is. Unfortunately there are a plethora of negative things to note about PediWest that are important to bring to the attention of the staff. The front desk staff have been lackluster at best, and very rude at worst. I have been talked to like I am incapable of understanding basic tasks, and I have seen them speak to others in the same manner. When you work at reception for a pediatrician, you are the face of the practice and the first encounter everyone has… so a little more respect and kindness would go a long way. This goes for in person interactions and interactions over the phone. Over the phone I have been sent in MULTIPLE ‘let me transfer you’ circles where nobody knows how to get a call sent where it needs to go - and when I am inevitably sent back to the original line I am treated like it’s my fault that I never got to the place I was looking to get to. I have been hung up on, and cut off mid sentence. I’m not a talker, I am very straightforward, so cutting me off is a task… somehow it has happened more than a few times with reception here. Their paperwork, system, and insurance information collecting is horrendous. They have gotten so many things incorrect, and although we have been here for 5 months, I’m fairly certain they still haven’t processed our insurance information properly. This leads to astronomical out of pocket bills being sent, for us to handle with our insurance because the office management can’t get it together. A complete nightmare and the only office we have encountered in ALL of our travels to have such a hard time getting their ducks in a row when it comes to insurance. We have seen other pedestrians, and other than Dr. Daley, we have been pretty disappointed with their bedside manner. You don’t have to spend all day with us, just take me seriously when I ask a question. As parents we come to the pediatrician when we are worried about our babies, not to annoy you with our concerns. Overall, PediWest is a practice you may want to reconsider if you are looking for half decent care for your little ones."

"Was a client of theirs with my son a year ago, recieved good care. My family was out of the area for a year. We tried to reestablish my son as a patient and it was beyond a nightmare. Over 2 weeks I've called them 7 times, sent records multiple times, filled out the registration form multiple times, get sent to a scheduling voicemail every time I actually get a person to talk to so I can explain what's been going on and never receive a call back. Also whenever I do actually get someone on the phone I receive different information on if they can schedule him or not and haven't spoken to 1 person that didn't just sound irritated with me. Incredibly disappointed and will not be going back here. I called Acton Medical Associates and they registered him, guided me to the form to get them records and scheduled him an initial visit and a 3 year check up in 1 phone call that took less than 5 minutes. Thats how easy it should be..."

"No issues at all so far...we LOVE Dr. Sheehy and the nurse he works with, and all of the other doctors and staff we've seen for last minute issues have been great too. Front desk is always friendly enough and gets us in as quick as possible. I try to make appointments early in the morning and appreciate that we haven't had to wait very long at all- they are usually right on time. I'm surprised to see some of the negative reviews as we have been very happy!"

"After being a patient for 3+ years and having an average (at best) experience, our son had a severe issue with his hand causing him to scream in pain. When I called for a sick visit they said there were no sick visits available (at 8am), and they would try to have a nurse call us. Thanks for being there for us in a time of need. We can probably register at a new location faster than they answer their phone. Do yourself a favor and don't go here."

"Recently signed up with a newborn. While the doctor seems to be looking for new patient, they were not available to see the newborn for any of the appointments so far. The other doctor we got to see is really good, but the coordination and administration is poor - extremely rigid in their approach and interaction over phone. They give very little options in terms of days and times - not considering that the parents may be unavailable too. Hopefully I will have better experience down the line, in which case this review will be updated."
