Reviews
"I am very disappointed in the outcome with KPTSM and I will explain. First, the people are top notch. Louis is a fantastic Physical Therapist that listens to his patients, and has truly helped me begin to improve my condition. For that, I am very thankful. The office staff- also very nice, helpful and return calls quickly. So, where is my frustration? Policies. It is 2021. The policy of missing too many appointments = you are not a patient anymore is absolutely archaic. People have lives, things happen, sometimes unexpectedly. I will admit I have missed 4 appointments where I called about 2 of them usually without 24 hours Notice, but as soon as I knew I could not make it. As someone who suffered a severe work injury I have been unable to drive for over a year. I have to rely on others to hopefully show up and bring me from Rindge to Keene. Sometimes, without notice that does not work out. That’s has always been the case except for one other appointment I had to miss because I found out I was exposed to and tested positive for COVID. it was the day before an appointment, but it is what it is. I understand that by not showing up for an appointment I took up time that could have been used for another patient. However it is also assumed that more importantly I cost your business money by not being there. I called today to verify an appointment and was simply told I am no longer a patient there. I can’t think of any other industry where It is acceptable to tell a customer that there business is no longer needed. If I ever told one of my customers that I was no longer going to serve them because they missed an appointment or didn’t do what we had planned, I would lose that customer for life, AND risk negative feedback. In an effort to apologize and makeup for missing my appointments I did in fact offer to immediately pay in full on cash for the sessions I missed, but was denied. I really hope this review takes into account my honest feedback. This is a silly un necessary policy. I hope you consider simply charging patients for missed appointments going forward. Because the ones that DO value your services will pay up and keep coming back, and the ones that don’t won’t return anyway. My offer is still open to pay for those sessions if I can be reinstated, but if not I will not in good faith recommend this establishment as I will now need to seek out another practice and will probably sacrifice the level of care and essentially have to start from “square one”"
"This last injury I had the pleasure of returning to Keene Physical Therapy for the 4th time. I have always been impressed by their availability, flexibility and effectiveness. I was lucky enough to be schedule with Evan who thoroughly impressed me from the start. His therapeutic intuition alone is worth 5 stars. Evan is attentive. Many times he spent extra time with me just to ensure I was receiving the best treatment possible. He is not only a therapist but also a teacher. I was discharged with a heavy heart but a head full of knowledge. My most recent experience at Keene Physical Therapy reinforced my belief that they are the best in the area. I strongly encourage those looking for healing to go to KPT and seek out Evan. His wealth of knowledge, patience and desire to assist in healing are outstanding."
"My experience with KPTS was fantastic. The office staff was very helpful and patient, answering all my questions prior to and during my treatment there. Everyone was friendly and always greeted me with a smile! It was my good fortune to work with Evan Knowlton at KPTSM for my most recent physical therapy. I have been in and out of PT for 25 years at other PT centers. Each experience over these years has given me varied results, some being simply lackluster and others down-right detrimental. I’ve had a lot of exposure to techniques and to many different approaches to PT… but working with Evan was an extremely unique and positive experience that will have a lasting impact on my overall wellbeing here to forward. Evan seemed to have a "sixth sense" about the multiple physical issues I have, which tells me he is a natural healer. He listened, not just with his ears. He is a very intuitive practioner. He took my whole body into consideration while targeting the specific regions that really needed attention. Evan was also able to identify the cause of a symptom I had suffered from for over a year. It had hindered most of my physical actions and appeared to be a mystery to other medical professionals. After Evan identified the cause, he gave me treatment which showed positive results right away and he gave me tools to use at home to maintain the progress I had made while in his care. Evan has rekindled my faith in “there are still good ones out there”. You’re the BEST, Evan… Thank you!"
"I had a great experience working with Evan Knowlton for the recovery and rehabilitation of a hip flexor injury. I have used another PT office for a previous shoulder injury, and I felt that Evan's PT approach was unique and beneficial as we initially worked through some standard exercises but then migrated to more advanced exercises developed by Evan through his extensive experience to rehabilitate the injury as well as strengthen the injured area."
"I just finished up my physical therapy series recovering from rotator cuff surgery. Prior to the surgery I was able to do most things I wanted to do but with discomfort. I even questioned having the surgery. Immediately after surgery as I began PT I must admit I was wondering if I made the right decision. At KPTSM I had the privilege of working with Evan Knowlton, a very skilled therapist and a wonderful person. He challenged me to repair my body with encouragement, excellent guidance, good humor, and plenty of exercises. To be honest the massages and stretches didn't always feel great but the end result is without a doubt a testament to his knowledge and skill. Evan continually presented new goals to achieve, and new exercises to master, in my quest for recovery. I never left a session without a feeling of moving forward and accomplishment. And now, here I am, 12 weeks after surgery, answering the question "Did I make the right decision?" and the answer is I made two right decisions. Yes, to the surgery and yes to KPTSM and working with Evan Knowlton. My experience at KPTSM was great. All the staff I had the opportunity to interact with were very helpful, positive, and personable. The end result is I feel great which leads me to heartily recommend anyone needing PT to consider KPTSM. Thanks Evan!"
