"Dr. Sam is great, espouses a whole-person approach to health. The office scheduling procedure, though - ugh! Six weeks ago, I requested a 5:30pm appt for today. The office manager and doctor stated it could be done this once, but not on the regular. I asked if they were sure, because I would not want either of them to be inconvenienced. They both said yes, just this once. The day before Thanksgiving, I rec'd an automated reminder message for 5:15, not 5:30. The 15 minutes make a difference when it comes to my job! I speak to the office manager today and she says "we don't do 5:30 appts". I recounted our prior conversation in which I STATED we could arrange something different if it was an inconvenience. She responded "well I don't memorize all the patients". OMG. I will go back next fall for a physical since the doctor is great, thankfully this was a follow up regarding thyroid levels and I have an endocrinologist to see for that. There's so much good in this office, but you guys have to do better when it comes to appointment scheduling. Don't say a late appt is ok when it is not, and then change things on the DAY OF!"
