"We went yesterday, 3/25/23. I loved all of the displays and plant sales. And I appreciate all of the info on native species you'd want for gardens and why they're important. A fun composting display. Puzzles and bingo cards/scavenger hunt for kids. Food and alcohol vendors. I would like to go again. To the people complaining about the prices - idk I think a $15 entrance fee is reasonable?"
"FYI: this is not a garden expo. Should be billed as a garden inspired food and craft fair to minimize disappointment of those looking for garden, landscaping and hardcaping solutions."
"Absolutely disgusting to take $15 from people for a vendor event. There weren't any floral displays that were designed to give ideas for our own gardens. And the flowers and plants and wines etc. offered for sale were wildly overpriced. We will not be attending this event again unless the rink area is utilized as it has in the past. There was one vendor who had patio furniture set up. I went with a friend who is elderly and needed to sit for a few minutes (she has a heart condition). I spoke with the woman who was guarding the furniture and told her that my friend was going to sit for a few minutes to rest because of her heart. The woman very rudely said "just for a FEW minutes -- I'm trying to sell things here". The tone of her voice told me to get off her furniture ASAP. So I helped my friend up and we moved to another location with a chair. That was the absolute lowest point of the day. All in all, it turned out to be beyond disappointing because of the cost and not seeing those awesome displays that we expected."
"I was very disappointed with this years flower show because it was more of a vendors show. I really think charging $15.00 to attend thinking you would see some awesome floral displays as in previous years and then only seeing vendors who had to have paid a lot for their tables was, again, disappointing. I think they could have charged much less for admission and be honest about the show."
"Wonderful venue. 150 vendors at least sharing smiles and information. Lots of samples and material to bring home and read. One day left so don’t miss it."
