"Rude, pushy, and condescending customer service. They kept trying to sell me the “100% free” subscription and I refused several times. “Why are you asking so many questions?” Because I need to know what you’re selling me before I sign up for it…? Don’t shop here."
"One of the worst: understaffed, pharmacists let prescriptions get badly out of sync and ignore company orders not to automatic refill, frequently out of stock of meds and deceptive estimates on availability, huge lines and waits of up to 20 minutes or more, mistakes in insurance billing and uninformed, inaccurate information about insurance"
"It gets pretty crowded, but this is where we ended up getting touristy trinkets. Downstairs seem to be mostly self checkout, but they do have folks tending the cashier upstairs if you want to talk or interact with someone."
"You never get to talk to anyone. You get to talk to the computer who will decide what you can talk about. If you have something else to talk about it will send you to another line and ask you to leave a message and someone will get back to you in a few hours but they never do. Everyone who goes there has a medical problem, showing compassion and empathy is important. This CVS does not care or try to help you solve your problems . They are always the problem. Very difficult to deal with. Sad that they are so near the university where the young adults are so far away from home and you have a pharmacy that is useless. Maybe you should just close and let another pharmacy take over."
"While vacationing in Cambridge, I came down with my first really bad cold in over two years! With all kinds of anxieties regarding the coronavirus and it’s various related viruses, I was concerned about the possibility of lowering my immune system so I emailed my internist on Christmas Day and while I didn’t expect to hear back until Sunday or Monday, he responded and asked for the address of a local pharmacy. I gave him the address of the CVS at Harvard Square and this morning, to my surprise, I received a call that the medication was ready. When I arrived at the pharmacy, they didn’t need to see my insurance cards and while I had never filled any of my prescriptions at a CVS, I found my experience to be a enlightening! I was also impressed with the staff, all of whom were happy to assist me! If I relocate to Cambridge, I’ll get all my prescriptions filled at CVS."
