"Shabnam is amazing and has always been my go-to Attorney for my personal and professional real estate transactions. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and a true leader in this space. Her team is reliable and always ready to assist!"
"Shabnam Mashmasarmi is an excellent attorney who really goes above and beyond for her clients, I'd trust her with anything, do not hesitate to call her. She responds in an extreme timely matter, she is a very knowledge, trustworthy person. There is no other attorney that will work as hard for you."
"My experience aligns with North E. review. I think shabnam takes on more than she has the bandwidth for and this translates to lack of communication and difficulties reaching her along with unnecessary delays in getting the Purchase & Sale agreement right. I also felt that because she over committed, she didn't have time to properly negotiate with other lawyers. Ashley her Paralegal did the work. When Ashley was out for 2 days, nothing got done & at some point the power imbalance between ashley & the other lawyer (sr associate) was apparent. Here are the details. On Wednesday (2 days before P&S) I sent new agreements to her and Ashley. When I didn't hear back, I called her on Thursday at 11am to confirm receipt. She didn't answer but texted me asking for my closing date. I told her it was the following day & I was checking in to see if she got my last email. She informed me that Ashley was out the day before and that day but she will look at it and get back to me. I never heard back. On Friday morning (due date) I texted Shabnam asking for an updated P&S to review that morning ahead of deadline. She didn't reply but Ashley around 10am sent me the document (copied and pasted my text as I sent it with things like 7k reading in a legal document). Ashley informed me that she has also sent the document to seller's lawyers. Ashley got back to me at 1pm sharing the things the seller's lawyer was pushing back on including things seller had agreed to in writing through our agents. It became apparent to my agent and I that Ashley was the one negotiating against a Sr. Associate on the other side and so I basically didn't have adequate/comparable representation. I called Shabnam, no answer. I texted her at 1:59pm asking to chat. Before I received her response I called the office (Nova Law) and the lady on the other phone let me know that neither shabnam or Ashley were available. They are in meetings and busy. They had a closing that day and they aren't available for me but someone will call me back and that they are aware that my P&S was due that day but they are busy at the moment. My response was: it is alarming that at 2pm on my deadline my lawyers are too busy for me. Shabnam responds at 2:34Pm stating she sent me an email and isnt available to chat that i should text her. I told i saw her email and replied to it, reiterated a few things via text. At 254pm she text me about the closing cost amount which i missed, then calls me at 3:59pm. I explain that the seller's lawyer don't need to know that information. When she called, she shared that she was at a conference, I explained the situation to her, she asked me for written proof of previous agreement with seller and i told her i sent it to her and Ashley at 1pm. She asked for a screenshot to be texted to her which i did. She mentioned the monday extension and i told her i was uncomfortable with that. She said she will call the other lawyers and get back to me. From 4, the next time I heard back from her was at 5:00pm and it wasnt to tell me she had been negotiating and advocating for me and a solution was reached. Around 4:45pm I spoke to my agent and I was informed that seller's lawyer last email to shabnam was at 4:16pm. Needless to say, I terminated our relationship and hired another lawyer. still had to extend the deadline of course."
"Shabnam is so professional, fast, and very knowledgable. She gets you the results you wants. I love how she is always available and will answer any questions making sure that as a client you are completely aware of what is going on every step on the way. I think she is one of the best lawyers I have come in contact with. Thank you so much for everything. 10/10 reccomend"
