"Open 24 hours 365 days a year. A clean, safe place to do laundry. Two jumbo washers & dryers along with entire rows of large, medium & small sized coin-operated machines plus two walls of double rows of dryers. Irregardless what time of day I've gone there has always been machines available. There are vending machines stocked with detergent, fabric softener, etc, if you should run out. The owner is frequently there & has always quickly addressed any issues. There is plenty of free parking along with free wi-fi to help pass the time. Kittery maytag has been my go-to laundromat, 25 years & counting.❤️"

"Very glad this place exists. If you had to do laundry in Portsmouth area, this is the place. Well lit, everything in working order, and the overhead music was the vibe I needed to get me relaxed after being screwed by a non-working hotel drier (as a side note, the only part of the non-working hotel drier was the actual drier part, the taking-my-money part was in excellent working order). Everything worked at Kittery, a professional and reliable operation. Thank you Kittery Maytag Launderette, you turn a difficult situation around for me."

"It's almost always clean and I've never had any issues with the machines. They clean well and the dryers do their jobs too. It seems like the owner takes good care of the place. I love how there's a snack and drink machine with decently priced items. The only thing I wish this laundromat had is a bathroom. The parking can be kind of a hit or miss as there's only enough room for maybe six cars. I've been to several laundromats in the area and this one is definitely the best I've seen."
