Get The FUNK Out Laundromat

"My friend recommended Get the Funk Out after my washing machine broke. I cannot say enough about this place! It was clean, employees were friendly and helpful and most of the machines were working. The Owner/ Manager was just awesome too!! I would not have had such a good experience without her help . Starting with her beautiful smile, friendly demeanor and professional appearance she selected the right machines, carried my heavy baskets from the car , added the correct amounts of detergent, showed me how to use a credit card to pay for a wash , ( who knew) and made change for the dryers .She even calculated how long to run the dryer for the PERFECT results. She was not only great with me but with all the others who" looked lost". She knows her employees and her machines well and I think she even drives the van to pickup and deliver laundry.! She and her staff are a real asset to the URI commercial community. Thank you all Elizabeth"

"Every time I come here, there is a mother-daughter duo that are always hard at work! They are so friendly and helpful every time as well. The machines are well-used so there are always some on the fritz or out of order, but that really is part of going to a laundromat. There are always plenty of other machines to choose from and if you ask they will tell you which machine they like best!"

Although they were unable to help with my quarter situation because they provide change for laundromat customers Frequently, and they want the laundromat to provide for their own customers. •Detergent dispenser stole my 5 quarters (which i couldn't replace easily due to first problem) •No staff available •No phone number to call in the event of emergency or general questions"

"My family and I has been going here for several years. Recently both the customer service and functionality of the business have caused me to switch to another company, even though I have to drive out of my way. I work nonstop through the week and routinely take care of my laundering needs on the weekends. How can you run a service business when there are no store associates to help you with issues, such as broken machines, customer service, keeping the place clean, etc. In the middle of the day on Saturday and Sunday there is no one there. I gave them a few weeks to try and get everything under control, however, it seems to be getting worse rather than better. The prices are pretty outrageous anyways and I had been considering leaving before this. I have taken my business elsewhere."

"I dropped my laundry off on Sunday morning and was told the laundry would be finished later that night. I received no update on the progress of my laundry until Tuesday (forcing me to resort to the little clothes I had left clean). I received a call from the delivery man and so far he is 2 hours later than expected. The service is poor and slow for how expensive it is to wash and dry ones clothes (about 25 dollars for me) especially considering the waiting time is around 3 days. Simply unreliable and inefficient."
