"AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I never write reviews, but Reliable Cleaners destroyed my wedding dress and then lied to me about it. I brought them a gently used wedding dress I purchased; the dress was pure white and in excellent condition except for an inch of dirt at the hem from being worn outside. When I came to pick it up, the entire dress was a revolting gray color (note the contrast with the white hanger cover in the photo). The gentleman at the counter feigned surprise and said he thought the dress was gray when I dropped it off. I found this hard to believe since he was the employee with whom I initially left the dress. He then admitted that while they usually clean white items in the beginning of the day when the solvent is cleanest, they had chosen to clean my wedding gown towards the end of the day, after cleaning dark colored clothing. I asked him why they made this choice, and he told me they had been busy lately. He was polite during our interaction and offered to try to clean the dress again, but I insisted on taking it home. I’m glad I did, because upon closer inspection, there were several large bleach marks around the hem, as if they had tried to correct their error and failed. I am devastated that my dress is ruined and extremely frustrated that this business lied to me so brazenly. Don’t bring them anything of value, sentimental or otherwise."
