"I needed a haircut badly, tried another shop who had a sign stating "call for an appointment" in the window, then gave the Crow's Nest a try. I was lucky. They were open and not busy so I got right in. It's a clean shop on the second floor. The sign is fairly high up the side of the building and the text on the door is dark so it's easy to walk by. They run it like a traditional barber shop without a lot of gimmicks. The barber who cut my hair, Kettric, was pleasant, asked questions about how he should cut the hair, and most importantly listened to the answers. He didn't rush and I was happy with the cut when I headed out. I'll be going back the next time I need a cut but with the holidays coming up I won't count on walking in. They have an online reservation system and I would recommend using it to avoid the frustration of not being lucky enough to work into the queue."
