Custom House Maritime Museum

"This is a great little museum for history buffs and those who appreciate art and architecture. You can learn about the founding of the Coast Guard, see what life was like for local residents, view historic documents, or attend an informative talk. There's loads of wonderful paintings and ship models, letters and signed proclamations and the building is original too. Kids 5th grade and above would probably enjoy it the more than younger tots. The small shop is also fun, and has items you won't see elsewhere."
