About the Piers Park
Piers Park is a beautiful park located at 95 Marginal Street in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. This park is part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Department, which creates and maintains clean, green, safe, and accessible open spaces in over 2,300 acres of park land throughout the city. The department is responsible for managing 217 City parks, playgrounds, athletic fields, golf courses, squares, fountains, game courts, cemeteries, urban wilds, and trees.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tree Removal and Parks and Recreation Commission hearings are currently being held online. Mayor Michelle Wu and the Boston Parks and Recreation Department have announced that the Boston Swan Boats will open for the 2024 season at the Boston Public Garden lagoon. The park is part of a 1,100-acre chain of nine parks linked by parkways and waterways. The department also manages three active cemeteries and 16 burying grounds in Boston.
If you are interested in removing a healthy tree, a public hearing is required. Come visit Piers Park to enjoy the beauty of nature and the various amenities it has to offer.

Reviews of Piers Park
"Loved it here for the free community event. Great for walking and sailing. They have trained staff that will take you for 10 bucks or so."
"Small Parking lot - Hold your patience and wait for someone to leave. Don’t forget to look for free parking in the street too! Playground for kids and multiple restrooms available. Nice waterfront and the view of Boston skyscraper. Good spot to take lots of photos."
"piers park is one of the few parks i’ve been to in east boston that has a decent amount of greenery and nature. they do a good job keeping it pretty clean. there’s geese poop but that’s inevitable. folks clean up after their dogs. which is amazing and you would think it should be common sense but it’s not so common these days. there’s so much space for a picnic or even outside gatherings with friends. we’ve seen photoshoots here and i can only imagine how the pictures turn out. i appreciate the two different sides of the playground. there’s a tall side and mini side for the babies that older kids could still play in. which is cool. my seven year old bounces back and fourth. in the warmer weather there a splash pad and picnic tables in the playground with a bathroom right behind it which is so convenient. the scenery is also gorgeous. it’s worth the trip. you’ll spend at least a few hours there so pack a lunch and some snacks."
