"Low admission price makes this a cute little interlude. The garden is small and this late in the season (late august) there is little to see. Don’t make a special trip, but stop for a few minutes en route to the beach with a carafe of gin and tonics and a couple beach chairs!"

"We rode bikes over to visit here and we loved spending time in this tranquil spot. It's $5 cash donation to enter and you can spend as long as you like here. It's full of beautiful trees, plants, water features and places to sit, relax and take it all in. Lovely friendly staff too. Well worth a visit for a bit of calm and you can head over to the beach after too."

"The entrance to the Garden is on a gravel road. The garden was open during winter. But it wasn't crowded. The garden was greenish even in the winter. But I believe it should be beautiful during the spring and summer months. You can spend an hour or so and cover it. Or you can sit on a bench by the pond and contemplate."

For only $5, you can escape the hustle and bustle of Martha's Vineyard and enter a garden of tranquility. Worth noting, the road to the garden isn't paved, so expect a dirt road full of bumps and pebbles. The drive is worth it though, just go slow."
