"Updated review : 1/8/23 Much cooler today but plenty of people &animals out. Great to walk with the sun out. There are people that love going to the gym to "exercise "...not me. The park is free, go at your own pace, wear comfy clothes, bring your dog or as today's surprise was 2 ladies riding their horses. Now if you ride, the Reservation trail, 2.5 miles supposed to be an easy trail, riding this route is walking only. The photos will show that the trail goes super narrow ("
"Love to go to Fearing pond for the day! The water is nice and clear with a sandy bottom. There are picnic tables and grills that you can use. My grandsons also enjoy going there!"
"Had a wonderful time with the kids the first weekend of June 2022. Check-in process was seamless. Was given a map to Charge Pond site which was not needed. You should just follow road signs to get there. Bought firewood for $7 - they only take credit cards except Mastercard. The campsite was private. The bathrooms were fairly clean - save for bugs which are inevitable. Quiet times were not strictly enforced but generally was quiet after 10. Lots of fun activities to do like swimming, fishing, basketball, hiking."
"Great hike with lots of elevation and terrain changes. If you leave the trail and walk down to some of the small ponds it adds some great views. Trail is fairly well marked but I'd recommend an app like AllTrails just in case."
