"The unofficial dog park of Northampton, my partner and I call it doggie heaven. A wooded walk that spans 2-3 miles doing the full loop, you will encounter off leash dogs all over. The loop runs along a river (or creek, or stream I'm never sure) for a good distance and all the water loving dogs are jumping in after sticks and balls, having the time of their lives. If you have a dog and like to take them off leash, bring them here. You will not regret it."

This side of the river is the dog side, where you are guaranteed to see good buddies throughout your walk, and on the other side that connects to Smith Campus, you will also see dogs, but more people.
