"First time hiking these trails. It was a beautiful fall day. My family had a great time. The view from Spruce Hill Vista was great! It would be nice if the DCR could add a few more blue marks to the trees. There were a few places we had a hard time finding the next one. Also, there were a few places I wished there was a bridge to get over the water. Many parts of the Blackburnian Loop that we did were quite wet. If going in the spring or a wet summer be prepared to go through mud. All in all it was a great hike."

"Easily one of the best views of nearly any hike in Massachusetts. It's got an incredibly short hike from the pull off. It's uphill the whole way and in some spots unbelievably muddy - so wear your boots. Pack a snack and soak in the view hike here and the fall close by for a nice day out with the family."
