"Hiked Charcoal trail from this trailhead. It is highly demanding trail with gradual declines and inclines. It offers several viewpoints in addition to the overlook itself."

"Great view and very nice trail for a hike. I’d recommend starting by climbing (right when you enter the path). You’ll get 250ft elevation then 500ft down and then another 250ft elevation (roughly). Nice trail, well maintained, small parking though. Highly recommended. A little buggy when we were there (after some rain), so I can’t say if it’s always like that or not…"

"The parking lot was small but also super limited due to the amount of snow on the ground. But there’s no hiking necessary if you just wanted to see the overlook. We decided to go on the Charcoal Trail, which starts at the parking lot. There was about a foot of snow and lots of broken branches on the ground so would definitely recommend wearing hiking shoes. Such a pretty and peaceful hike though!"

"This place was recommended and it was a great recommendation. Very pretty, lots of parking space, easy to find, and has hiking trails! We didn't get to do the trails it was to chilly but I am sure they are beautiful."
