"I've always enjoyed to this little nature trail. It's right on the river and you can always see wildlife if you have patience. A great place to view mushrooms and learn about trees. Also has information about ice harvesting on the Hudson if you go on the trail to the right and follow it all the way down to the river."

"Cohotate, along with connecting trails to Brandow Point and The Willows, are all very nice for a short hike. Lots of birds and nice scenery of the Hudson River. However, be aware that there is a lot of Poison Ivy all along the the trails in the woods. I included pics to help with identification."
