"Amazing selection, well organized, and good prices. Kinda a dream store for anything plumbing related. I kinda wish they had prices posted for planning purposes but I understand they change from time to time."
"The staff is great to work with, though the process always feels wonky because they have to check availability and price. You will also likely pay a little more here because of the quality of parts, but you are getting much better parts than you will at home depot."
"Knowledgeable staff. Welcoming place. They always have what you need for plumbing and heating. Heat pump accessories, Line sets, 14/3 wire. Try getting that stuff at Home Depot right now, not happening!"
"Not ready for prime time. We checked them out on the advice of our contractor, and really had a great experience there. But then there was email trouble, things not coming through, email responses were slow, though we finally got prices. Prices were just unreasonable. I expected them to be twice as expensive as Home Depot, but they were between 8 & 10 times the prices. Then, we discovered one item we ordered was special order, and had to be made to order, and that's what made that piece more expensive. The fact that some items were "made to order" was not explained. We found a few others we liked almost as well. Finally, after a very sloppy back and forth, we arrived at some prices, only to discover that one item (a mirror) had been discontinued. Picking items out for home remodelling is a very painstaking business. Things like this need to be known ahead of time, not once we've left the store and put that process behind us. We also learned, that the rep who we spent an hour with picking things out, went on 6 week leave the very next day, leaving us to start from scratch. Finally, even though the mirror we wanted was discontinued, we offered to purchase the display model, and the lady said that we couldn't do that until they had a replacement to hang in its place (really...I mean ... really?? I won't even go into the irony here). In short, this is a place that just has a lot of rough edges, they're "depot quality" in terms of service and ought to be priced quite a bit lower to reflect this. (update: Also ordered chrome pulls for vanity but were brass. At that point it was easier to pay the extra and just go to Home Depot)"
"We had a terrible experience with Frank Webb Home in Oakland. My husband and I ordered a shower base, walls and glass door on March 3. We were told it would be delivered in 3-4 weeks. We never heard any updates from the company, so we expected everything was on time. We told our contractor the expected time frame, and they came to start work on March 21, took out the current bathroom and since we still hadn’t heard from them by the end of March, I finally called them. No one knew where our order was. Oops, it’s on backorder for another 4 weeks. You’ll have to wait. I spoke with a manager about the poor (none!) communication that now I have no bathroom shower for a month and they never checked on my order - he assured me they would keep track of it this time. It would be delivered April 23. Fast forward to April 20- I still have not heard a peep from this company and so I call them to see if I’m getting my shower on Monday. The first Lady I spoke to told me she didn’t have time to look up my order- she’d get to it Monday. I called the manager again- oops sorry, it’s not been shipped. Irate because I hadn’t heard anything from them and now it was going to be ANOTHER 1-2 weeks, I asked for daily updates on the progress. I was assured that I would get them. The next day at 430pm (they close at 5), no update. I call and ask what’s going on. Oops, we forgot. I just yesterday got my shower delivered into my garage- 6 weeks after the demolition. We want support small, local businesses, but when you pay $3k for a shower, I expect some customer service. This is absolutely the poorest customer service i have ever come across. This place is a joke- they have no idea what’s going on with anything. They won’t check your order or make sure it’s on time- even if you get them. They won’t keep a sticky note on their desk or set a reminder that they should call you or look for your order- you have to fend for yourself and pay them $$$$ at the same time. They won’t be courteous to you after they’ve made obvious big mistakes. They won’t get it to you when they tell you it will come (even having it delivered was an ordeal). This place will quickly go out of business if they keep treating people this poorly. I am disgusted with them."
