"This is a review of the Black Belt Extravaganza at the Regent Theater. I have been sending my kids to Alton Street Boxing & Fitness for six months or so. However, although I had seen some videos, until attending the Black Belt Extravaganza I didn't feel as though I had a good overview of what the different age groups practiced or what the school's curriculum was. The Black Belt Extravaganza provided useful insight into that. It was a fun night out for the whole family. The kids did get to bed late, though."

"I wish I could give negative stars! I called just to inquire about the classes and stuff as I just moved to the neighbourhood! The person named Charles was being rude and unprofessional for no reason! When I confronted that you don’t have to be rude, He said there are other places you should go to we would not like to have you here. That is crazy, how can someone be so rude and so not interested in their own business. I was so patient and trying to be friendly and nice to him. I would like to request for the owners to take some action against Charles he is def getting you negative reviews. I was very excited to get started with the classes! A big thumbs down for you guys!"

"Amazing school. The instructors are great, kind, and a joy to work and train with. The Muay Thai class is my go to and it’s great for both beginners and people wanting to improve and learn from the best."

"I have been attending this studio and taking the cardio bags class through Class Pass for the past month. Tonight I received a phone call from the owner telling me that I can no longer attend this class unless I buy a $25 tee shirt from him that says “Alton Street”. I have reached out to Class Pass to inform them of this scam Charlie is trying to pull here. Writing this as a warning to others to be careful for scams and this cult-like mentality. I will say that Donna (the instructor) is lovely and I did enjoy the class. So disappointing."

"Don't waste your money here. I initially chose this place based on its 5-star rating, as they advertised training to improve children's focus and discipline. We made a $400 down payment to secure a lower monthly rate for a one-year course. However, after just 5 months, my son no longer wanted to attend because he felt bored. Despite not receiving any lessons for several months, we were still required to make payments. When my husband tried to discuss canceling the remaining payments with Charles, he threatened to damage our credit if we don't pay the remaining 4 payments without considering our perspective. While we did sign a one-year contract and understand the obligation to pay, it seems unfair that the service quality and the promised goals were not taken into account on their side. Regardless of whether the kids enjoy it or not, the parents are still required to continue paying. This experience has led me to believe that their focus is primarily on convincing customers to commit to a one-year contract rather than delivering good services or providing post-contract assistance."
