I had wanted to save the base cabinets which were made of birch, so he built four new dovetailed cabinets for me and rearranged some of the old cabinets to create a seamless design. He constructed eleven soft-close drawers for this project as well. Above and beyond his exceptional skill, he is personable, punctual and fairly priced. I am so pleased to have found him in a Google search and would recommend him to anyone seeking to breathe new life into a home renovation."

"We have used many professional trades over the course of owning several homes. We have usually been disappointed to some degree. We expect good quality work for a fair price. Nothing unusual or especially out of the norm. Just good quality work. We found Alex through a friend that was especially pleased with his work. Our experience with Alex was impressive right from the start. He came over when scheduled and went over the project. He made detailed notes and sketches of the job and made useful and practical suggestions. We agreed on the scope of the project and the cost. Alex took over and ordered the cabinets and material. He continued to maintain contact and update us with info regarding the delivery the cabinets and scheduling of his work so we could schedule others. When the work began Alex really stood out. He showed up every day as scheduled. No excuses, no exceptions. He knows what needs to be done and works accordingly. No small talk, runs to Home Depot, no drama, just on task all the time every day. And the quality? This is a refurbish job in a 1960’s house. Every joint perfect. Outside 45’s, crown molding, door and drawer mounting, placement, spacing and small subtle details I never expected all perfect. At the end of the job while we were marveling the results Alex pointed out a set of cabinet doors over the refrigerator he felt we a bit over size and said he would reorder them and reinstall. As expected, Alex completed that keeping us informed and scheduled within a week or two. Like I said, we have used other finish carpenters and trades many times.
